Keane, Spurs

This is the second time I've repainted this Keane figure. The first time was into Leeds kit for my own collection.

Always a fan of hooped socks on a repaint!

Oviedo, Everton

As it's derby day, here's an Everton repaint that I did recently!

This one made use of a lookalike figure; one that I also used for Costa Rica!

I don't have much more to say about it really!

Oviedo himself gave it a favourite and a retweet:

Charlie Adam, Blackpool

Here's my first ever Soccerstarz figure repaint!

Charlie Adam in the kit Blackpool wore in the Playoff final that saw them promoted to the Premier League for the first time.

This was my first chance to judge a Soccerstarz figure up close. I think the sculpt is pretty good, but am not overkeen on the base, which feels pretty thin and cheap. It was also much smaller than I expected.

I'm still undecided over whether to get myself some Leeds related Soccerstarz to repaint (such as Milner and Snodgrass)

Anyway, in spite of its size, this one didn't give me too many problems.

John Sheridan, Leeds

Perhaps the rarest Leeds repaint in my collection!

I finally managed to get this Sheridan figure as part of a job lot on ebay- a real bargain, after a spell where I was tempted to pay over the odds to get him!

I think it's quite fitting for such a rare figure that it was also the first time that I painted this kit.

So much love for this one!!

Lampard, City

Well, here's a repaint I didn't expect to be doing; Frank Lampard in Man City colours!

It just looks like the wrong shade of blue on him!

A picture of him wearing this kit in a match is pretty hard to come by, thus far!

For what it's worth, I think he's a decent signing for them, tho I'm not sure how much Pellegrini will use him.

Friedel, Spurs

Big Brad, repainted into a very bright, albeit very plain GK shirt.

It also has a fair bit more hair than I ever remember Friedel having... something that Brad pointed out himself!

One of my favourite responses!

Jamie Redknapp, Bournemouth

Here's Jamie Redknapp, as he was in the Bournemouth spell that earned him his move to Liverpool.

...

I don't have much more to say about it, to be honest! I couldn't find many pictures (hence the one below, that hardly shows the kit!)

I wasn't even sure which shirt number to add. I went with the same number 7 that the original figure was wearing!

Joel Campbell, Olympiakos

My second version of Joel Campbell, this one using a different lookalike figure. I've gotta say, I like this one better.

The Olympiakos kit has had a few outings now, thanks to a couple of returning Greek customers, but this is the first time I've also had to paint hair and a beard onto the figure too!

This (as well as the Costa Rica one) got a favourite and a retweet from Campbell on twitter.

(I didn't get in for a screen grab before all of the other faves and rts that this resulted in!!)

And just in case you want to see him in Olympiakos kit for real...

Dorigo, Leeds 1992

My Leeds 1992 Title winning side is coming along nicely! The midfield is done, and Dorigo completes my pairing of fullbacks... tho I don't think I've posted my Sterland lookalike yet. Keep your eyes out for him!

Not much more to say about this one really, tho I'm getting plenty of practice at the kit!

Dorigo himself had this to say about it on twitter:
