Personally... I love this one!

Think the figure is a great sculpt, and even tho the kit is simple, the repaint looks pretty slick, if I say so myself!

One way that this was different from a lot of my other repaints is that I had to paint plainer boots onto it! He wore bright ones at Spurs (for the original figure) but usually wore plain black for Leeds.

Gazza, Spurs

I find it pretty baffling to think that Corinthian never produced a Gazza figure in Spurs kit! Surely it would have been a very popular figure!

Anyway, on realising this, I did one!

My thinking was that this kit, in which he scored the famous free kick against Arsenal, would be a good choice.

Here he is in this kit, in action!

New approach:

The other day, I decided to buy a job lot of figures on ebay. None particularly rare, but 60 of them for a reasonable price.

Encouraged by the initial success of my ebay activity, my plan is just to use them to do a few repaints, stick 'em on there, and see how they do!

Adams, in a mid 90s Arsenal away kit.

I loved this kit at the time... basically because it had lightning. In fact, every kit I designed myself (as 10 year old boys do) had lightning on it from this kit onwards.

Think this may be one of my next models to go on ebay: while I fancied painting it, I never really intended to keep it!

I don't see Diouf staying at Leeds past the end of this transfer window, tbh, so thought I'd better post this early in January!

I went with last season's kit for this repaint- mainly because he's hardly played this season.

The socks are my favourite part of this one!
