Maradona, Boca Juniors

Happy Sunday everyone!

Here are a couple of Maradona repaints:

 I've done this one a few times now, but these are the most detailed ones, so I picked them for the blog post.

I don't usually add kit manufacturers or shorts numbers, but they were requested for these. Tho it's not my usual style, I'm happy to add them when requested.

If you look carefully at the top one, you'll even notice the Puma king boots!

For the uninitiated, this post is also a good illustration of the difference between 'normal' corinthian prostars (top) and Fan Favourites (bottom pic)

Riquelme, Boca

Valencia last time, Boca this; It's all getting quite exotic around here, isn't it?!

Anyway, here's Riquelme:

I enjoyed both of these! The main challenge was getting the number and names the right size for the back, considering the portion of the shirt they had to fill... to be honest, it was so long ago that I can't remember how I did it!!

Anyway, I love how they look even now!

First blog post since it was announced that schools are closing. Will I become more prolific in the coming days and weeks?! I wouldn't bet on it, to be honest, but you never know!

Benedetto, Boca Juniors

It's late, and I'm tired... but I'm also conscious that I haven't done a blog post for a few days.

Here's a contemporary Boca Juniors repaint:

This one made use of a lookalike figure, to produce Boca Juniors' talismanic forward Pipo Benedetto.

I'm always a fan of adding a beard!

Maradona

Well, my laptop is back from the repair shop!! In truth this only partly explains the huge gap between blog posts, but what better way to celebrate getting it back than with... a new blog post!

Here are some Diego Maradona repaints:

The two teams are Argentinos Juniors, and Boca Juniors.

Clearly the absence has not adversely affected my ability to write sharp and to the point blog posts...
